Once You're Inside the Park

We are a Hilly Park!

The Flint Hills are certainly reflected in Sunset Zoo's terrain! While beautiful it does make for steep hills in some areas, please plan accordingly when visiting. The Zoo is wheelchair accessible, however inclines near the gibbon exhibit / the entrance into the Asian Trail is steep. Utilize the ADA accessible pathway at Expedition Asia for better navigation. 

New Zoo Friends Coming Soon! 

Exhibit makeovers are in full swing at Sunset Zoo for the Australian Walkabout. Due to new regulation standards, the inner Australian walkway path is not accessible. All Australian animal residents are currently viewable. After updates are complete, the Australian Walkabout will become the Australian Outback!
